As CEO of Safetrac for over 10 years, I have seen many companies and organisations suffer from not having adequate compliance training for staff, or an established code of conduct. The Victorian State Government is one of them, following multiple scandals spanning across the past decade.
Because of this, the Local Government Act 2020 was passed by State Government last year. This includes reforms designed to improve accountability, integrity, and transparency within local councils.
