About this course

In August 2023, the Australian Human Rights Commission (AHRC) released practical guidance for organisations on how to comply with the positive duty under the Sex Discrimination Act.

Safetrac’s Respect@Work – Positive Duty Guidelines for Leaders training course, has been designed based on the AHRC’s Guidelines for Complying with the Positive Duty under the Sex Discrimination Act 1984 (Cth).  In a comprehensive and engaging module, it addresses the 4 guiding principles and 7 standards related to the positive duty, desired outcomes, and how to achieve them.

Developed particularly for organisational leaders and senior executives, it will provide learners with the knowledge and skills necessary to navigate the guidelines effectively, ensuring legal compliance while actively promoting human rights and equality throughout their organisation.

It focuses on eliminating sexual harassment and sex-based discrimination, and strategies for implementing the 4 guiding principles and 7 standards within their organisation. In addition how to foster an inclusive and diverse workplace that values and respects the rights of every individual, contributing to a more equitable and harmonious society.
