About this course

Phishing is a prevalent threat that can affect everyone who has access to electronic communications and can occur anywhere from small businesses to large-scale organisations.

Safetrac’s Cyber Security Phishing Course is designed to help educate all staff and management that use electronic communication/messaging systems to be aware of phishing and the cyber security threat it poses. There is a common misconception that phishing only occurs by email, however, this course outlines how any electronic message such as an SMS text can be used to phish confidential or sensitive data in multiple ways (such as spear-phishing and whaling).

This course outlines some suggested measures of what you can do if you come into contact with suspicious electronic communications, while always remembering to still consult your manager/IT department for your own relevant company policy.
