Training Course Updates

Does Safetrac keep its training courses updated?

Yes, Safetrac regularly updates its training courses to ensure they remain current with the latest laws and regulations. We continuously review and enhance our content to address emerging compliance issues and incorporate feedback from clients.

How often are the training courses reviewed and updated?

All Safetrac courses are reviewed on an ongoing basis, no less than annually, and always alongside major updates or as significant regulatory changes arise. This ensures that our training content is always relevant and effective.

How are clients informed about updates to the training courses?

Clients are notified of any significant updates or changes to the training courses through email notifications, the Safetrac Course Update Portal and regular client communications. Our Course Update Portal monitors legislation relevant to each of the clients and informs clients of any impending changes, and the approximate date our course/s will be updated with those changes.

What happens if there is a major regulatory change?

When there is a major regulatory change, we create what is called a “Booster Course”. A Booster course is simply a short course focused on regulatory change. It means that if you have already trained your staff in that topic for the year, you can simply roll out the booster to inform them of the change without the need for learners to complete the entire course again. This is a significant productivity enhancement which provides you with peace of mind that staff are always up to date with the latest changes.

What happens if a complete redraft of legislation or newly introduced legislation?

In the event of a major regulatory change, Safetrac will decommission any content that is no longer relevant and will create new relevant content/courseware.  Further, we will provide interim guidance and resources to clients, such as a booster course, to ensure they remain compliant while the updates are being implemented.

Can clients request specific updates or customisations to the training content?

Yes, clients can request specific updates or customisations to the training content to better meet their organisational needs. We work closely with clients to tailor the courses to reflect their specific industry requirements and compliance challenges.

How does Safetrac ensure the accuracy and relevance of the training content?

Safetrac employs a team of compliance experts, legal professionals, and instructional designers who continuously monitor regulatory developments and industry trends. This team collaborates to create and maintain accurate, relevant, and engaging training content.

Are there additional costs associated with updated training content?

Standard updates to training content are typically included in the subscription or service agreement. However, extensive customisations or specific client-requested updates may incur additional costs, which would be discussed and agreed upon with the client in advance.

Can I access previous versions of the training courses?

While we strive to provide the most current and effective training, previous versions of courses can be accessed upon request if needed for reference or comparison. Please contact our support team to discuss your specific needs.

How do updates affect ongoing training programs?

Updates are designed to integrate smoothly with ongoing training programs. Any significant changes are communicated in advance, and transition plans are provided to ensure minimal disruption. Employees can continue their training seamlessly with the most up-to-date content.
