Compliance Unwrapped: Key legislative changes your business can’t ignore

In the past year, sweeping legal reforms have changed the way organisations approach compliance—from Respect@Work duties and industrial relations updates, to new ESG requirements, climate-related financial disclosures, and more.
But what’s still to come in FY25/26?
In this one-hour session, Safetrac’s CEO Deborah Coram and Jaylene Trovato, Legal and Compliance Officer, will unpack the critical changes every organisation needs to know—and what to do next to stay compliant.
Get clarity on what’s already in effect. We’ll cover key regulatory changes from FY24/25, such as Respect@Work, psychosocial hazards and ESG disclosures, and explain how they impact your business and where to focus now.
Get ahead of upcoming changes. We’ll explore what’s expected in the new financial year, including privacy reforms, AML/CTF expansion, reporting obligations, right to disconnect laws and more, and what they could mean for your business.
Non-compliance can be costly. We’ll highlight common risk areas businesses often overlook, how regulators are responding, and how to spot gaps in your training, policies and systems before they lead to serious consequences.
Compliance is ongoing. We’ll share practical steps to embed legal updates into your operations, refresh training and policies, and build a proactive strategy that strengthens your culture and holds up under regulatory scrutiny.
Have a question or concern? Ask Deborah and Jaylene during the live Q&A. From training tips to upcoming changes, they’ll help you make sense of what matters to your business.
