About this course

The Code of Banking Practice (the Code) sets out the standards of practice and service in the Australian banking industry for individual and small business customers and their guarantors. The Code provides safeguards and protections not set out in the law. The full version of the training focuses on the current Code of Banking Practice.

The Banking Code of Practice Booster version of this training sets out a new standard of customer service for Australia’s banks. The new Banking Code of Practice takes effect from 1 July 2019.

Safetrac’s ‘Code of Banking Practice’ course provides organisations and their employees with a general understanding of your legal obligations for your organisation, and what will occur if your organisation breaches the Code.
