About this course

Under the Fair Work Amendment (Protecting Vulnerable Workers) Act 2017 franchisors and holding companies can be responsible for certain contraventions by their franchisees or subsidiaries.

To assist in ensuring that your subsidiaries and franchisees don’t breach the law, Safetrac has developed specific courses dealing with employment obligations for the automotive, fast food and retail industries.

The modules within these courses are tailored to the specific industry, with relevant scenarios created as well as content focused on the National Employment Standards along with relevant industry award content (General Retail Industry Award 2010; Vehicle Manufacturing, Repair, Service and Retail Award 2010; Clerks Award 2010 and/or Fast Food Industry Award 2010).

Modules are designed to be rolled out online to dealerships, franchisees, store owners and managers to explain what obligations they have to their employees and contractors. These comprehensive modules are generic in nature, however can be customised to your specific needs.
